We currently have the following job opportunity.

Education Resource Content Writer

Theatre-Rites is creating an exciting new site-specific production this summer and we are looking for an arts educationalist who has previous experience of creating resource packs to accompany productions.   The pack will be a tool for both schools (Key Stage 2) and family audiences, available as a download and in print.

The theme of this project is to explore the difficulties facing refugees and a country, or region's dilemma, of how to be welcoming. We will create a metaphorical, theatrical place in which audiences, both adults and children, can reflect on how refugees are feeling as they go on their forced migration in their search for a place to call home, which in this context simply means somewhere they can feel safe.

You must be extremely efficient, with excellent attention to detail and have good communication skills.  Ideally you will have experience of working with schools and essentially you must have demonstrable knowledge of Primary school systems and the curriculum.
