Bursary Artists
In April 2006 Theatre-Rites advertised 3 bursary opportunities for black or minority ethnic visual artists and/or choreographers. This scheme will run over two years and we are delighted to announce that our first recipient is MeiMei (Wu Yanmei), a Chinese fan and ribbon dancer, a choreographer and Zheng player (Chinese zither).
Each Bursary artist will be attached to a specific project and MeiMei will collaborate on our 2008 Unicorn co-production.
