Bursary Artists
Our current Bursary Artists are :
John van der Put, a contemporary magician and The Magic Circle Close-Up Magician of the year 2011. John's alter ego, Piff the Magic Dragon, is an Edinburgh Fringe favourite accompanied by his levitating chihuahua, Mr Piffles. John is attached to our current production; Mojo.

From 2006 to 2009 Theatre-Rites ran a Bursary Scheme funded by the Arts Council.
Our Bursary Artists :
MeiMei (Wu Yanmei), a Chinese fan and ribbon dancer, a choreographer and Zheng player (Chinese zither). Mei Mei was attached to Lighten Up as a performer.
Adjjima Na Patalung, visual artist, director and producer originally from Thailand. Adjjima was attached to Lighten Up and Salt as Assistant Director.
Saju Hari, dancer and choreographer was attached to a National Studio research and development project.
Machiko Hombu, designer was attached to Hang On.
