Theatre-Rites receives fixed-term revenue funding from the Arts Council England and has been influential in raising the status and profile of young people's theatre in this country. There are three strands to the company's programme of work:
- Site-Specific Shows
- Created for one site only, which gives the theme and inspiration for the production.
- Touring Shows
- Intimate shows created for theatres and presented across the UK, as well as internationally to Canada, Norway and Japan.
- Exhibitions and Installations
- Interactive experiences without performers, created in response to specific sites or themes.
